As a photographer, my job is to look past the surface and capture the "soul" of a space. Recently, I had the opportunity to spend time

documenting Smoke and Swagger, a mobile cigar lounge that is redefining what it means to host a high-end event.

I’ll be honest: I’m a non-smoker. Usually, the idea of a cigar lounge might feel a bit intimidating or "cloudy." But after spending time inside (and outside) this setup, I totally get the appeal.

More Than Just Smoke

There is a specific culture to cigar smoking that you don't find elsewhere. It’s not about a quick habit; it’s about conversation. Whether people were sipping spirits or clipping a fresh cigar, the atmosphere is a magnet for networking. I watched strangers become fast friends, all initiated by the ritual of the room.

The Man Behind the Vibe

A huge part of the welcoming energy comes from the owner, Erik. He has a natural way of making everyone feel like a VIP. Whether you are a regular aficionado or a curious passerby just peaking in, Erik is there with a warm welcome. His hospitality, combined with the atmosphere, encourages people to settle in chairs and

hang in the lounge for hours.

The Atmosphere

• The Fresh Air: Because the lounge is an outdoor setup, the air stayed clear. I never felt overwhelmed by the smoke.
• The Aroma: Forget what you know about cigarettes. These quality cigars have an incredibly rich, appealing aroma.
• The Comfort: Between the plush, comfortable chairs and the curated music, it felt like a high-end living room that just happened to be on wheels.
